2007 Dog of the Month
Winners!

the far left is Gus Gus McPhee, in the middle is
Dinker Darrell, and on the far right is Pokey
Marie, all 3 are miniature dachshunds.
Gus loves to play with his toys, and also loves
to lay on our bed and watch out our bedroom
window for hours on end. He is the baby of the
bunch, not even a year old. Gus loves his
mommy, (me!) he follows her wherever she goes.
If he could go to work with her, he definitely
would.
Dinker is our 3 1/2 year old little man. He
loves to chew on his
Kong toy, and play tug-o-war with Gus. He
absolutely adores the lady in his life, Pokey.
They sleep curled up together whenever they
can. When everyone is outside, Dinker will
chase his tail non stop. Sometimes, so much he
gets dizzy and falls over. I think he loves the
attention of an audience, because that's the
only time he'll do it, usually. He also loves to
lay on his Daddy's lap when he plays XBox.
Pokey is the oldest of our babies. She'll be 6
in November. She is our loverdog. She loves to
give kisses, and to be cuddled like a baby. If
you're sitting somewhere where she can rest too,
you can bet she'll be there. She loves to chase
crickets, and eat them too, even though her Mom
and Dad don't find that to appetizing. She is
also our sunbather. If there is a patch of
sunlight for her to bask in, she's the first to
claim it. When she isn't playing with Gus and
Dinker, she loves to sleep. Especially curling
up inside a blanket or under pillows, anywhere
that is nice and warm and comfy.
Gus, Dinker, and Pokey wanted me to tell you
that they are beyond addicted to your star
snacks that you make for them. They hope you
never stop making them!!!"
Congratulations to Gus, Dinker & Pokey for being chosen as
Dog of the Month for July and thanks to Kim Slagal for sending
in their pictures! The dogs will receive a 15% discount
at Bow Wow Designs Boutique & Bakery and Kim will
receive a $25 Gift Certificate to the Trolley Bar in Fort
